Amol’s Pastry Board is a thick and attractive base for pastries, made from multiple layers of premium quality paperboards, all machine-pasted together.
Formaldehyde free
Unlike cheaper substitutes made from MDF board, we do not use formaldehydes anywhere in our process (formaldehydes are known to be toxic to humans).
Safe inter-layer bonding
To paste the board layers, we use only top quality synthetic adhesives (not starch-based derivatives which are prone to infections).
Waterproof, easily cleanable top
The topmost layer is a metallised waterproof film that is also machine-laminated and hence does not chip.
Rigid ‘stay-flat’ paperboard
Amol’s Pastry Board does not bend under the weight of the pastry.
Not just for pastries
Amol’s Pastry Board can also be used as coasters, dessert display tray, cakebase for mini cakes and mousse.
