High Tensile strength
The twisted paper cord is produced from a special paper of tremendous tensile strength. And the twists we impart then add some more! This makes them eminently suitable as elegant (and economical) handles for carry-bags.
Supple, yet tough
The cords are very pliant yet tough. Our customers have used them to make swings, hammocks, chairs and curios.
Unique and very attractive
The quaint, rustic appearance makes them ideal for items like Ladies’ purses and bags, fancy lamp-shades, even designer jackets. In decorative / gift packing, just untwist the cord-ends to form a pretty bow.
Retains more than 65% of its strength even when completely wet
The special paper used possesses excellent wet-strength (it will not distengrate even in boiling water). Currently offered in white and in natural brown, the cords are completely bleed-free even when wet. Our customers have designed plant-holders and wall-hangings in them.
Available in many thicknesses
Standard thickness is 3mm. However, for bulk orders, custom thicknesses (2mm to 5mm) are also possible.
