Formaldehyde free
Unlike cheaper substitutes made from MDF board, we do not use formaldehydes anywhere in our process (formaldehydes are known to be toxic to humans).
Safe inter-layer bonding
To paste the board layers, we use only top quality synthetic adhesives (not starch-based derivatives which are prone to infections).
Waterproof, easily cleanable top
The topmost layer is a metallised waterproof film that is also machine-laminated and hence does not chip.
Rigid ‘stay-flat’ paperboard
Amol’s CakeBase Board does not bend under the weight of the cake. The bigger sizes are available in extra thick boards.
Printing, customisation
For bulk orders, Amol’s CakeBase Board can also be supplied in custom sizes, with printing or embossing.
